Outside Sales Representative – GTA Surrounding Area
Type: Contract
Location: Toronto
Our client is looking for an Outside B2B Sales Representative to service customers and develop new business.
As an Outside Sales Representative with our client, you’ll play an important role in their mission to keep workplaces safer, healthier and more productive. We strive to provide high quality first aid, safety, emergency and training products delivered in a way that meets each customer’s needs. Our client’s products and services increase workplace safety and compliance, and drive preparedness for sudden cardiac arrest through our comprehensive AED programs. You’ll enjoy uncapped commissions for doing work that’s keeping our customer’s employees safe and can save lives. Our client sells thousands of products and there is not a business that can’t use something our client sells.
Specifically, the job includes:
§ Closing business-to-business deals with companies of every size and in every industry
§ Maintaining, building and creating lasting relationships with new and existing customers within your exclusive sales territory.
§ Mandatory face-to-face cold calling
Position Description
§ Responsible for the sale of full line of products/services to new and existing customers.
§ Develops solution-based sales relationship by identifying potential problem areas for the customer and offering our client’s products or services as the solution.
§ Engages in direct one-to-one communication with customer or client, makes sales presentations and deploys promotional materials to persuade existing or new customers to buy our client products or services.
§ Performs field promotion work and develops new accounts.
§ Demonstrates products and/or services and provides assistance in the best application of product or services.
§ Answers all questions concerning products or services and refers questions as necessary.
§ Contacts prospects and explains features and merits of products or services offered, utilizing persuasive sales techniques.
§ Closes transactions and takes orders.
§ Distributes, maintains and grows product inventory levels at customer site.
§ Stocks our client’s Van with promotional materials to distribute to customer, conducting routine cycle counts and annual inventory of product, and maintains company vehicle according to company procedures.
§ May coordinate company product support and services to ascertain customer’s needs.
§ May estimate time and sales expenses expected and submit to management.
§ May analyze records of present/past sales, trends/costs, estimated/realized revenue, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred. Interprets accounts, trends, and records to management.
Minimum Requirements
§ 3+ years sales experience
Critical Skills
§ Clean DMV record as you will be provided a company vehicle for work related use
§ Basic computer aptitude
Additional Knowledge & Skills
§ Outside business to business (B2B) sales experience
§ Experience developing new business- cold calling/ hunting/ prospecting
§ Full cycle sales experience- lead generation through closing of sale
§ High customer service standard
§ Strong work ethic
§ Excellent communication and observational skills
§ Thorough working knowledge of assigned product(s), company functions, marketing and/or service policies and procedures and excellent communication skills

Education
§ High school or equivalent

§ Ability to perform lifting (weight varies based on product)
